About 6 years ago, before the pandemic, when I was working at my last full time job I liked to take little guitar breaks out in the parking lot of the office. It was one of the most nondescript business-y buildings you’ll ever see and the parking lot was cracked, weedy, and always at a quarter capacity.
The main residents of the lot were cats who liked to sleep in the shade of the hedges that lined the perimeter. They were always there. Usually one or two, but sometimes six, or one time, fifteen!
The other chief residents of the lot that I saw were ants. They loved all the cracks in the asphalt. A few times, I decided to film the ants while I played guitar. It turned out kinda nice!
Just another small thing
In the mornings Jiji likes to watch what’s going on while staying comfy. Here she is looking out from the bedroom over a pillow.
That’s all!
Love,
Forrest
